real next step

Everyone else seems to be moving.

Your friends are going to uni.
Someone’s started an apprenticeship. Someone else is travelling. Someone’s moved away.
And people keep asking:
“So, what are you doing now?”

Find Your Path gives you somewhere to start.

“You don’t need the whole map. You need one useful next step.”

What you'll do

5 short modules · practical exercises · go at your own pace

Module 01

Clear the Noise

Separate what you actually want from all the pressure, expectations and ideas about what you should be doing.

Module 02

Collect your Clues

Explore what interests you, what matters to you, what gives you energy and the strengths, skills and experiences you already have.

Module 03

Follow the Threads

Pull those clues together and identify three directions that feel genuinely worth exploring.

Module 04

Explore the Possibilities

Turn those threads into things you can investigate in the real world, instead of trying to work everything out in your head.

Module 05

Choose your Next Experiment

Pick one tangible next step, decide exactly what you're going to do and put a date and time in the diary.

You don't finish with a career picked out. You finish with something real to go and find out.

The people behind Pathmakers

Ruby Robins

I’ve been figuring it out as I go, too.

I didn't follow the traditional university route.

I've travelled, lived abroad, worked different jobs, trained as a coach and changed direction along the way.

When I was starting out, I wish I'd had somewhere that helped me explore what could fit me without expecting me to already know the answer.

That's a big part of why we created Pathmakers.

Joa Robins

Joa is Ruby’s mum, Pathmakers co-founder and an ICF-accredited coach with more than 16 years’ experience helping people navigate change, uncertainty and big decisions.

She also knows this journey from the parent’s side. Ruby’s education took an unexpected route, and Joa has spent years learning how to support her children through changing direction, exploring what fits and finding their own way. She also co-founded A Place to Grow, an alternative education project for 6–12-year-olds.

That experience has given her a deep trust in something at the heart of Pathmakers: you don’t have to know exactly where a path is leading before you start exploring it.
